The Hubbard Street Signs were erected at the time the Albert Hubbard was involved in creating one of the first suburban housing developments in the country. The Signs were a unique touch that he incorporated into creating the neighborhood identity that prospective buyers were looking for.

Solomon Welles Arbor Day Tree: The WVIA always plants a tree in town on Arbor Day. This blue spruce was planted at the Solomon Welles House on Arbor Day, 2000. Christmas lights brighten the corner of State Street and Hartford Avenue.

This circular wooden bench was designed by Tom Dahlke, and placed by the WVIA  on the Broad Street Green for the use of all passersby.

Pitkin Community Center: The new, enhanced entrance to Wethersfield's Pitkin Community Center is part of a long-term beautification program which the WVIA proposed several years ago.
